The third installment in The Thursday Murder Club series. I read all three back to back and now I’m sad I read them so quickly and have to wait for another one to be published. The “gang” of our favorite British seniors are all back to solve another murder. Osman kills me with the dry wit he instills in his characters and the way he paints scenes so you can watch them play out perfectly in your mind. There was one chapter in particular that made me laugh so hard I had to re-read it, (it helps that the chapters are short. I think all books should have short chapters.) This go-around Elizabeth manages to secure a death threat and has to work to slither out of that alive all while diving into the forensics of a cold case with the ever growing Thursday Murder Club. I think officially they keep it to four members, but there are at least that many honorary club members. Again, the characters and the humor are what keep bringing me back to the series; the mysteries are just fun to boot. Loved it!
