This was my second Mary Roach book. I thought it was fun but not as engrossing, to me, as Spook. Roach has a hilarious sense of humor, especially given her science-based dry-books that makes the reading experience a lot more light and enjoyable. I didn’t have a lot of takeaways from this book, which maybe was more of a reader-issue (in this case listener-issue) than book-issue.
