I didn’t even have this one on my list but then had to squeeze it in after a few glowing reviews from some book friends. I was completely captivated and finished it in two days, I could not stop listening. A podcaster starts interviewing a woman to do an extended podcast episode with her life story and then things turn dark and the podcaster’s life basically turns into a live true crime podcast. Lots of twists and turns up to the final chapter. It was riveting! I do need to emphasize that it is pretty dark and it may be worth looking up trigger warnings before diving in to check on sensitive topics.
