This was my first Stephen King novel ever! It came recommended from someone who does not like horror books (me neither) so I thought I’d give it a try. I listened to it but read that the formatting of the book is unique in that it’s just one long monologue with no chapters to separate any parts. Dolores is accused of foul play in the death of her (wealthy) employer. This is her statement. She denies any foul play with her boss but does confess to another murder, unprovoked, during her statement. I did not think I’d like it at first but about an hour in I was hooked and finished it in two days I think. Fun read.
