Vera Wongs Unsolicited Advice for Murderers

Author

Vera owns a tea shop in Chinatown and is starting to feel irrelevant, that is until she wakes up to find a dead man in her shop. She manages to center herself around the investigation of a possible murder and makes some friends along the way. It was cute but I’d describe it as very “convenient” where everything works out just so. That usually irritates me because it’s not realistic, although there is merit to wanting something you know is going to have a happy ending.
