Author

“Factfulness” was a recent book club pick and it struck me as incredibly timely, even though it was written eight years ago. It’s a shame that the author, Hans Rosling, has since passed away because I’d like to see a second edition with updated statistics. In a world overwhelmed by doom and gloom, this book offers a refreshing and encouraging perspective. Rosling illustrates that things aren’t as bad as they seem—the world isn’t a complete disaster area, and many aspects of life are improving. He provides practical tips on maintaining a level head when faced with alarming news, clearly conveying his deep commitment to his message. Embracing Rosling’s insights would benefit us all, reminding us of the power of informed, positive action in a world that often seems dark.
