I’m currently taking a course on psychedelics in psychotherapy, and “The Doors of Perception” came highly recommended. Aldous Huxley, a British philosopher and author, does an incredible job of describing his first experience with mescaline, a psychedelic drug. His ability to articulate the often ineffable effects of this substance in this brief yet profound book is truly remarkable.
