I added “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” to my list after a recommendation, but by the time I got around to it, I’d pretty much forgotten what it was supposed to be about. Jumping in blind, I was surprised to find a story about a single mom navigating the world of OnlyFans, with the unlikely support of her retired pro wrestler dad. This setup was unexpectedly thoughtful and quite endearing. The characters, particularly the recovering addict ex-pro-wrestler dad, were not only well-crafted but also incredibly lovable. The book skillfully tackles a slew of complex issues—from CPS and addiction to single parenting and the realities of working as a cam girl. Each topic is handled with a thoughtful touch, making for a layered and engaging read. Overall, it was a fun and enlightening book that I’d recommend.
