Read For Fun
I guess I have read quite a bit of Rainbow Rowell! Fangirl, Carry On, Eleanor & Park, Landline, and Attachments are all past favorites.
Are they amazing feats of literary gold? No. But they are fun, cozy reads with a lot of heart, and Slow Dance fits right in. It felt like a Hallmark movie, but slightly less cheesy. It was also really long, but I kind of liked that because it allowed more build-up for the plot and gave time to really enjoy the characters.
Comfort reading at its best: warm, a little sentimental, and just the right mix of sweet and sincere.
