I’ve had this on my bookshelf for years and somehow never opened it. That’s one of the reasons I love doing my library’s book challenge. It pushes me to read things I’d probably never prioritize on my own.
I picked this one for the “EGOT material” category because, fun fact I somehow didn’t know until now, the musical Cats is based on this book by T.S. Eliot.
Did I like it? Honestly, not really. They’re very silly, very dated poems about cats. Which actually sounds like something I would love, but for whatever reason, it just didn’t land for me. That said, I did really enjoy the illustrations, which were my favorite part of the book.
