This was my second read through of this one. I chose it for my book club pick this year and hopefully elicits good conversation. Gilbert sets up the framework of ideas being thought of as entities that are searching for a creative outlet in humanity. If an idea comes knocking, be ready to answer. It did feel a little drawn out, like she could’ve covered the topic in about half the pages. Either way it was still a quick read, she’s a good writer, and has some great anecdotes throughout to help the reader appreciate or recapture their own creativity.
