FRESH POTS! I love a good memoir read by the author, and musician memoirs are definitely a sub-genre I keep coming back to. I didn’t know exactly what to expect going in, but Grohl is way goofier than I realized—and I mean that in the most endearing way.
He’s a master musician living his best life, and I really enjoyed hearing his deep sense of gratitude and the way he talks about synchronicity in his life. So many of the major moments seem to come from wild, chance encounters, and he tells those stories with a lot of heart.
Honestly, he was just a fun guy to spend 11 hours with. Also, I wish I had bedtime stories with Joan Jett too.
