The third and final installment in the Emily Wilde series—and I’ve truly loved this series. The world-building continues to be my favorite part; it’s rich, immersive, and filled with that perfect blend of magic and folklore.
I’ll admit, I occasionally get a little lost in the details of Emily’s plans and the intricacies of Faerie rules, but honestly, I don’t mind. I’m mostly here for the atmosphere and the characters, and I’m happy just tagging along for the adventure.
I think Heather Fawcett pulled off the ending really well, and I was satisfied with how things wrapped up for all the characters. A lovely, whimsical close to a series I’ve really enjoyed.
