I picked this one up because I read “Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs” by Doughty and needed more of her macabre humor and dry wit. Beyond just enjoying her jokes, I actually loved learning about how other cultures handle death and after-death. I think everyone should read this book and then we, as a whole, society, can re-negotiate what is expected (and even better, let’s take money and getting rich out of the equation and just focus on what’s important). Who’s in?
