Library Challenge
This was my first Bill Bryson book, but won’t be my last. I loved it, his dry wit and subtle humor had me laughing out loud multiple times. Australia has always been on my Travel Bucket List and after reading this book, if I’m being honest, it made me less likely to travel there. Australia is not for the faint of heart, nor is it for arachnophobes. I loved learning about Australia’s history and landscape. Not that this isn’t obvious from looking at a map, but Bryson drilled home just how huge this country really is. I loved hanging out with Bryson and already have another travel book of his lined up in my queue, Notes from a Small Island.
