(Therapist/Anyone) I read this from the point of view of a therapist (always on the lookout for a good book recommendation for clients). I thought this was an excellent book on grief for someone who is grieving, or someone who needs to support a griever in their life. Megan Devine handles the topic with empathy and compassion and gives a much better overview than we’ve had in the past with older “schools of thought” on grief and grieving. It’s a tough topic, and at one point or another, will be applicable to all of us. We can all use some tips on how to handle it better with loved ones and the book offers great advice so you’re not stuck feeling stupid and not knowing what to say to someone dealing with personal grief.
