This book is literally all about clothing and laundry. I would’ve skipped over it but after a recommendation from a friend I gave it a listen and loved it. It’s read by the author and he has a charming accent that was calming as I listened and worked around the house. It was a perfect choice after finishing my last book (a dark thriller) and exactly the light topic my mind was happy to absorb. I learned all sorts of tips and tricks (e.g. always wash your clothes on the express cycle and always in warm water) and also reconsidered my own relationship with my clothes, the task of laundry, and maybe most importantly, the products I use and their effects on the environment. I’ll probably purchase a hard copy to keep in my laundry room as a sort of brightly colored “laundry room bible”.
