A charming, sweet, cozy fantasy for adults. Viv the ork is ready to settle down and decides to start a coffee shop. This is set in the 1300’s and no one besides Viv is familiar with coffee, so she’s really going out on a limb. She doesn’t seem to trust others and so it takes a lot of vulnerability on her part to get the help she needs to get the cafe up and running. The sense of community and subtle love story did not disappoint. It’s definitely a feel-good book. Hindsight, I should’ve read it during the winter because it’s so cozy. I thought it was adorable and would recommend.
