I picked up “Starter Villain” on a whim with an Audible credit and didn’t know anything about it. What a happy surprise! I found myself laughing throughout the entire book, enjoying the absurdity—yes, that may include a few talking animals. Just go with it. It was a fun ride from start to finish, and I especially appreciated that it’s a standalone book. No commitment to a lengthy series needed. What’s it about? While you could read the summary, I’d recommend just diving in blind and enjoying it for yourself!
