Had a slow start, in fact, I don’t feel like it really picked up until about two-thirds of the way through the book. It’s a fantasy about finding doors into other worlds and what happens when we make the crossing from one to another. It’s an intriguing idea and I can’t quite put my finger on why I felt like it missed the mark for me but for one reason or another it didn’t fully captivate me.
