I’m fascinated with the idea that across ages, religious affiliation, ethnicities, or class that there are striking similarities with the experience that comes when crossing to the other side. Whenever I meet a hospice nurse I hope I get some time to talk to them because I think they are a special breed. I loved the stories and firsthand experiences in this book. Now I need to look into peer reviewed research that covers the same topic to compare.
