I’m a big fan of Lucy Foley, and while “The Guest List” remains my favorite, “The Midnight Feast” was a really enjoyable read. It has that classic Agatha Christie vibe, with Foley skillfully intertwining the characters’ lives as their shared histories unfold. The book reminded me a bit of “Nine Perfect Strangers” in the setting and the hostess characters are similar. If you liked or didn’t like that book, it might be a good indicator of how you’ll feel about this one.
