A fun twist on the old “missing girl” trope. Ben goes missing and his sister Jess is tasked with putting all the clues together to find him. As usual with Foley’s books, the characters are more than what they seem, full of relational surprises and interweaving backstories. The plot was complex but manageable to follow. The ending tied up all the lingering question marks (which often gets overlooked with suspense novels). I thought this was excellent, especially for any fan of Agatha Christie.
