Same author of one of my favorite series, The Thursday Murder Club. This book is set in the same “world” (a modern day England) but with all new characters. Amy, a talented bodyguard, gets framed for murdering some clients so she teams up with her father in law, an ex cop who likes his quiet life, to find the culprit. It didn’t quite hit like Thursday Murder Club, but I still loved it. Same cheeky writing and loveable geriatric characters.
